Lemon Yogurt Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons lemon peel
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 cups lemon juice

 

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients and set aside cream butter sugar lemon  peel and vanilla
  2. Add eggs one at a time
  3. Add flour
  4. Add Yogurt and lemon juice
  5. bake for 350 degrees 50 to 55 minutes
  6. Then cool 10 minutes
  7. invert onto plate
  8. Brush cake with glaze
  9. Glaze
  10. 1/2 cups lemon juice
  11. 1/4 cup water
  12. 1/2 cup sugar
  13. combine all ingredients cook 5 minutes
